Our Favorite Valentine

During the second week of February, schools are often focused on Valentine's Day and making arts & crafts for loved ones and colleagues. At ETC Phoenix School, we have all of that happening as well, but we had a few additional things happen this week that really helped spread the love amongst our students and staff.

First of all, our own, Amazing Dr. Frank Munroe received the Teacher of Week Award from Discovery Education for his contributions to both the STEAM Community as well as our students in the areas of Math and Science. We are truly blessed to have him at ETC Phoenix School and it is no surprise that he is often referred to by our students as their "Favorite Teacher."

Our second bit of love came in the form of a Random Act of Kindness bestowed upon our students and staff by the Wonderful volunteers at ABrightSpot.org. We recieved an envelope that had handmade cards for each of our students and staff with positive wishes and words of encouragement to make our days brighter. Our students loved it and it even made Dr. Frank and Dr. K each shed a tear or two.
