ETC Phoenix School's 5 Pillars of Excellence: Pillar #4, Kindness

The best thing that you can teach a child in this world, is how to be kind.
The best thing that you can teach a child in this world, is how to be kind.

Kindness, in my opinion, is by far the most important of all of our pillars. You can be the smartest, richest and most successful person in the world but if you don't have the ability to be kind, it is all for naught.

You can ask any of my students and they will tell you that the one thing that I am constantly reminding them to be is a "Good Person". The "Good Person" that I am always trying to influence everyone that I meet to evolve into is one that, above all else, is always looking for ways to be kind to others and themselves.

Kindness is not just a feeling; Kindness is an active, compassionate and forgiving behavior. It is a skill that is found naturally in every human, but just like every skill, it must be practiced, nutured and cultivated in order to reach its full potential. In its most basic form, Kindness is the act of caring or having compassion for another. However, when it is wielded masterfully, Kindness has the ability to change the world.

That is why Kindness is the most important pillar, because it can also be the most powerful. It can completely change a person's perspective on the world around them and improve the quality of life for everyone.

Let's teach our students this amazing skill and lead by example on how to use it properly. So please join us on our mission here are ETC Phoenix School; be Kind to everyone that you meet and especially to yourself.

All My Love and God Bless,

Rev. Dr. Frank Munroe
