Multiple Day Options for K-8th Grade
At ETC Phoenix School, we understand that homeschooling is a collaborative effort, and each family’s needs and schedules are unique. That's why we proudly offer flexible options for 4, and 5-day schooling as well as full or half-day kindergarten. Students will attend core instruction on Monday - Thursday with our dedicated teaching staff. For those who choose Fridays, "Flex Fridays" provide individualized instruction tailored to each student’s needs, ranging from small group lessons to one-on-one interventions or enrichment activities. Families opting for half day or 4-day classes will partner with us, reinforcing lessons at home on their non-school days. Choose the schedule that best fits your family's lifestyle, and rest assured that we are here to support you every step of the way!
Curriculum
We proudly use the Charlotte Mason Methods, an educational philosophy that emphasizes the development of a child’s character and intellect through rich literature, nature study, and hands-on experiences. This approach fosters a love of learning and encourages students to engage with their environment and the world around them. We utilize The Good and the Beautiful and Simply Charlotte Mason Homeschool Curriculums. Alongside this teaching philosophy, we utilize resources such as Reading A to Z, Generation Genius, and other materials that effectively bridge the gap between the Charlotte Mason approach and the State Curriculum. This ensures a well-rounded and comprehensive educational experience tailored to meet the diverse needs of our students.
Specials
At ETC Phoenix School, we believe in a well-rounded education that nurtures creativity and physical wellness alongside core academics. Each day, students enjoy forty-five minute specials that include a diverse array of subjects such as art, music, cooking, dance, theatre, and physical education. These engaging specials not only foster artistic expression and physical fitness but also help students develop valuable life skills and social interactions. By incorporating these enriching activities into our curriculum, we aim to create a dynamic learning environment that inspires every child's passion and creativity.
Extra-Curricular
At ETC Phoenix School, we believe that extracurricular activities are essential for holistic development and creativity. We proudly offer Educate Theatre Camp's award-winning theatre arts curriculum on Thursdays after school, providing our students the chance to immerse themselves in the performing arts while connecting with peers from the homeschool community. Additionally, our students engage in various educational field trips, spelling bees, science fairs, and other community events, fostering a sense of teamwork and exploration. These opportunities not only enhance their learning experience but also instill a passion for creativity and collaboration.
